Ship Manifest: SS Romanic - 8 July 1907 - Napoli to Boston

The Romanic left Naples on 26 June 1907 and arrived in Boston on 8 July 1907... carrying a whole boat load of folks from Torre le Nocelle, Montemiletto and Pietradefusi.  They were spaced out on three different manifest sheets which are posted below.  Click to enlarge... and enjoy!

Line 26: De Cristofaro, Gennaro, age 17, single, laborer, relative in Torre le Nocelle is father Domenico De Cristofaro, $12, no previous travel, going to uncle Nicola Giardiello at 57 (illegible) St. Boston MA.

Line 29: De Nunzio, Antonia, age 28, single, housekeeper, relative in Torre le Nocelle is father Vincenzo, $10, no previous travel, going to cousin Orazio Bevilacqua at 68 Prince St. Boston MA.

Line 30: Todesca, Angelo, age 17, single, laborer, relative in Torre le Nocelle is father Antonio, $14, no previous travel, going to uncle Gennaro Cirignano at 92 Swanton St. Winchester MA.

Incidentally ... as I was trying to figure out which Roslindale street Gennaro Cirignano lived on, I came across this veeeery helpful link.

Line 5: Colella, Ciriaco, age 17, single, laborer, relative in Montemiletto is mother Pasquale (Pasqualina?) Colella, $5, no previous travel, going to uncle Luigi Ragno at 115 Salem St. Boston.

Line 6: Dello Iacono, Gaetano, age 20, single, laborer, relative in Montemiletto is father Felice, $10, previously in Fitchburg MA between 1903-1906, going to brother-in-law Giuseppe Capone at 11 (illegible) Place, Franklin MA.

Line 7: Vozzella, Ciriaco, age 26, married, shoemaker, relative in Torre le Nocelle is wife Pasqualina Tedesco, $20, previously in Dedham MA between 1903-1906, going to uncle Raffaele Dello Iacono at 76 Florence St. Boston MA.

Line 8:  De Cristofaro, Francesco, age 38, married, laborer,  relative in Montemileto is wife Luisa Colantuoni, $13, previously in Charlestown MA between 1900-1905, going to brother-in-law Giovanni Colantuoni at 34.5 Main St. Charlestown MA.

Line 9: De Cristofaro, Paolo Nicola, age 14, single, laborer, son of Francesco De Cristofaro.
